Sara Salyers: Liberation Scotland
Introductory Summary: The United Kingdom is in violation of the UN Charter and international law. It is exploiting the territorial assets of a people who hold the lawful title to the territory, (lands and seas), of Scotland in violation of the right of self-determination and of the prohibition of annexation or colonial domination, both peremptory norms (jus cogens) in international law. The United Kingdom has systematically violated Scotlands inherent right to Permanent Sovereignty Over Natural Resources, (PSNR), by executing wrongful administration and control over Scottish territorial resources including extracting and disposing of oil, gas, minerals and other territorial and maritime assets. PSNR is a fundamental principle of international law (enshrined in UN General Assembly Resolution 1803). It states that the right to dispose of and profit from natural wealth belongs inherently and permanently to the people of that specific nation. Any foreign appropriation without explicit, lawful consent is a violation of the right of self-determination.
